The 2 that went AWOL have returned. They look as if they’ve been scrubbed up and the markings are indeed a bit strange.

I think nothing more to it than a half completed repair and paint job. Some close ups. They do look silly though.

All is forgiven, our 3 friends are being painted today, Saturday.

Cubsur might be along shortly with a photo of work in progress.

Here are some more Christmas lights and decorations around the old town including inside the Cavern. Taken last night. A problem with trying to take the outside pictures is the street lights that are often at the same level as the Christmas lights and much brighter. Anyway...
