A very grey morning, it's not actuallly raining at the moment but there is some more on the way. A band of fairly heavy rain passed across the region during the night, from north west to  south east and is now raining on Spain and Gibraltar.

Coming our from the same direction is a large area of lighter rain, possibly showery rather than solid. That will be here around lunchtime.

It's not cold, temperature at 1000am is 19,2C, the air is of course very damp. It won't get much warmer later.

Any further rain should be gone by tonight, expected to be a damp 17C.

Tomorrow will be nicer day, a bit of cloud, no rain and 21C, Friday better still, a sunny day with 22C.

Nice and bright morning with just a few scattered clouds. Must be winter though as there is a woman on the bus wearing a fur coat!
Temperature at 9am was 19c rising perhaps to 23 later. Little or no chance of rain. Tonight 18c tomorrow another nice day and 23C.

A nice sunny morning but for the tourists not very warm at only 17.4C. Not a cloud to be seen and just a very light breeze.

Temperature should reach 22C later, which is about normal for the time of year. Cloudy perhaps later also. Nothing to suggest any rain today.

Tonight will see temperatures fall to 13 or 14C. Tomorrow could be quite cloudy but with the wind coming from the south it should be still be reasonably warm at around 22C. More sun comes out way for Sunday, temperatures back up to 23 or 24.

The outlook for next week suggests some  pleasant weather with perhaps a couple of days of temperatures back into the high 20's, before a few rainy days starting next Friday.

A nice morning so far, some high thin cloud but otherwise blue sky. Temperature at 0950am is 18.1C, there is just a slight wind. Today's high will be around 22C. Cloud may thicken later and the wind will probably get stronger as it did yesterday.

Tonight could be quite cold as these parts go, could be as low as 12C.

Tomorrow will also be a bit cloudy, temperature again 22 or 23C, Tuesday could see temperatures up to 26C. Make the most of it, next Friday is expected to be a rainy day as will the whole weekend.

It was fairly cloudy a couple of hours ago but brighter now. Fairly breezy this morning. Temperature at 1040am is 20.1C, fairly humid at 71%.

Expecting a reasonable day with temperature perhaps reaching 23C. Cloud will come and go, increasing as the day goes on. Temperature tonight 14 or 15C.

Tuesday and Wednesday will be a little warmer than today with no rain forecast.

The ten day forecast has scaled down the rain for next weekend from heavy to moderate, but we should expect rainy days from Saturday for several days.

Tomorrow is expected to be a better day for some sun and perhaps up to 26, very warm for the time of year.

It's a little misty, quite warm and humid. Temperature at 12noon is 22.6C, humidity at 71%. There's no wind to speak of.

The sun is trying to break through the cloud and mist. If it does, temperatures could rise to as much as 26C later.

Tonight will be fairly warm, no lower than 17 or 18C in most places. Tomorrow will be about the same as today, Friday is when the showers come in followed several rainy days as a fairly deep little depression tracks its way from west to east across the region.

It looks like we may just get away with rain today at this morning anyway. There is an area of rain to the south of Faro, not cming this way  and another to the west of here but it's moving slowly and fading out by the look of it.

It's pretty cloudy ovehead and to the wests, clearer sky to the south. Temperature at 0830 is 18.7C, humidity 71%. Just a light wind from the south.

Top temperature today 22C, staying cloudy with some chance of light rain this afternoon and evening.

Fairly cool tonight, could be as low as 13C. Saturday is expected to be a rather rainy day, 22C, warmer at night though. Sunday a showery day with some sunny intervals between them.

Back in the UK today after spending the last 38 days in the Algarve.
I think across the piece we had half a day of rain, a couple cloudy days and 35 days of magnificent weather.
Unbeatable.
I hate how peopleï compare Frank Zappa to God. I mean, he's cool and great and nice and everything, but he's no Zappa.

Indeed Dicey, you left at the right time! The rain was late arriving here yesterday, although it must have been raining just about everywhere else. There was some pretty heavy rain after dark around here.

This morning I can see a mass of dark cloud across to the east. Lighter skies and one or two blue patches to the west show that current rain is passing. Unfortunately it looks like the weather radar has conked out, at 2100 last night so that would have been during one of the downpours. I don't know for sure therefore where it is raining now, except that it is not here.

It's going to be a cloudy and showery day. Temperature at 8am is 19.5C, humidity measuring 90% under the cloud. Max temperature today no more than 21C. It will be warm and damp tonight. Tomorrow and Monday will again be showery days, perhaps with a few sunny intervals between them.

There is an orange weather alert for the region warning of rough seas and heavy rain.

The rain did hold off for the most part yesterday, but it did rain quite a bit after dark and was very wet windy at times during the night.

This morning it is fairly cloudy but mostly high cloud. Not raining at the moment and there is a bit of sun overhead. Temperature at 0940am is 18.2C, humidity 75%. It won't be much warmer later and there could be some heavy but isolated and fast moving showers this afternoon and evening.

It won't be cold tonight, down to 17 or 18C.  Strong winds and heavy showers are forecast for Monday, lighter showers with sunny spells in between for Tuesday. Temperataures still in the 20 - 22 range daytimes with the moist air coming from the south and south west.

Update 1220hrs - rig for storm, batten down the hatches! A big and evil looking black cloud is heading right for us.
_______________________________________________________________________

A shower has just passed by, fairly heavy rain for 20 minutes or so. That follows a night  of prolonged and sometimes very heavy rain.

It looks like we might have a few hours of relative peace and quiet, but there are two lots of very heavy and possibly thundery showers out to the south west heading in our general direction. If going out, keep an eye on the sky over there and take your rain gear.

Temperature at 1045am is 18.2C, the humidity thing says 86% hardly suprising as it just stopped raining.  So a cloudy and showery day coming, some showers heavy.

The showers could continue well into the evening and through the night, but becoming lighter and less frequent. Tomorrow will also be a showery day but not so bad as today. Wednesday could see temperature up to 27C as a lump of tropical air passes over. The rest of the week should be fairly warm, 23 or 24C and staying dry but fairly cloudy at times.
