Official forecast says 30C today, it's already more than that. Temperature at 1100am is 30.6C, blue sky, no wind to speak of. The air is very dry, so not too unpleasant. Down in town it will feel a lot hotter with the heat reflecting off the walls and especially the shiny slabs on the streets.

It will be a warm night, 23C along the coast, warmer inland.

We are heading into a week of hot weather, temperatures will be in the low to mid 30's, with the weekend possibly being even hotter at 37 or 38C. Inland it is going to be even hotter. The wind will generally be coming from hte north, so it will still be very dry air with zero chance of anything nasty happening.

Expecting a hot one today! Forecast is for a high of 33C under a blue sky.

Temperature at 0843am is 25.8C, no it's just gone up to 26! There is in facta cloud going past. A slight breeze is coming through the window.

It will be a warmish night at 23C, same as last night.

Tomorrow might be a little cloudy, Thursday fine and both days 30C or a little above that.

The weekend will be in the high 30's, early next week the outlook page says 40C.

I could happily spend a few hours in a bar, beer in hand, watching the Test Match if it wasn't in Cardiff where it is bound to be raining.

Another hot day after a windy night.

Temperature at 1135am is 30.5C, there are few high but wispy clouds in an otherwise blue sky. There's just a slight wind but this will increase later.

Tonight will be a pleasant 21C.

There doesn't look like being any real change for Thursday and Friday, but the outlook still expects a rise in temperatures from Saturday onwrds until we reach 40C a week on Friday.

It was rather humid last night, almost damp feeling when I surfaced earlier this morning.

Sun is out now of course and temperature is climbing. Just after 9am and it is 25.1C, the sky is blue except for a slight haze on the horizon out to sea. There is a slight breeze.

Today's high is expected to be 28 or 29C. Sorry, that's all. Dress warmly.

It will be another nice night tonight, 21 or 22 along the coast but warmer inland.

More sunny days ahead, 29C tomorrow and 30C + over the weekend.

It's not so warm as yesterday after a cold night, when the temperature fell to 20C.

We are not being roasted by the winds coming down from the interior, it's more of a north-westerly with a lot of sea involved.

Temperature at 1015am is 23.6C, sky is blue and there is a breeze. Forecast for today is 30C.
Tonight will again drop to 19 or 20C.

The weekend will be a little warmer, 31 - 32C then although the extreme forecast for next week has been scaled back we are still expecting 36C (97F) by the middle of the week.

It was colder last night at 19C than for many nights. Now, after a sunny morning with me doing the households chores, it is 30.2C coming up to 1pm. There is a slight breeze and not a cloud in the sky.

Tonight will be again around the 19 or 20C mark, possibly quite windy as it has been lately at night.

Tomorrow we are expecting 29 or 30C, Monday also, but then into the high 30's for the rest of the week.

Another sunny day, expecting a high today of 31C. At 1010am the reading is 25.5C, there's just a little wind.

Tonight will be a pleasant 19 or 20C, with the wind a bit stronger as it usually is at night.

Tomorrow will be a touch warmer, for Tuesday the forecast is for 34C.

It's a bit hotter than yesterday, temperature at 1020am is 27.1C, humidity 45%, blue sjy and just the slightest of breeze.

Forecast for today is for 30C, maybe a little higher.

It should be another pleasant night at 21C, the wind will no doubt pickup as well.

It will be hotter tomorrow, hotter still on Wednesday and by Thursday temperatures will be in the mid to high 30's.

Again hotter than the day before. Temperature at 1025am is 28.9C, humidity 40%. Blue skies (of course) and almost no wind.

Forecast for today is 31C.

Tonight won't be too bad, 21C near the coast in the night-time breeze, 23 or 24 inland.

Tomorrow and Friday will be hotter still.

And hotter! it was 23C at 730am, now at just after noon it is 32.6C, humidity 31%.

It is a bit hazy this morning, but no actual clouds to be seen. Again there is very little wind.

The forecast today was for a max of 31, so we have beaten that!

Tonight will be another warm one, 22 or 23C. Tomorrow will again be around 32C here on the coast, much hotter inland. Get this - for Friday the met office is expecting showers! Buit it will still be 30C.

Phew, felt really hot today.
Currently at 8.30pm my thermometer is showing 31 even though it's clouded over and a stiffish breeze has sprung up.
After 2+ weeks of this, showers begin to sound quite attractive Wink

It would have been hot rain! This is my last on the spot report for a while. Right now I am sitting in the departure area at Faro airport, full of crying babies, waiting the off and some time away from the tourists and hot weather.

It was 27C when I left home at 9am, now it is 31 at the airport. Forecast for today is a build up of cloud later and tonight to be around 22C. The threat of any rain has been removed from forecasts  for the next couple of days, but it won't be all that hot along the coast, maybe only 30 or 31.

Away from the coastal breezes, even a little way inland, it will be much hotter, up to 38C.

Next week will see temperatures in the mid to low 30's. This is 3C above average for the time of year.

Nothing out of the ordinary to report here.
Days are hot with temperatures in low to mid 30's, clear blue cloudless skies, a light or moderate breeze every now & again and warm nights in the low to mid 20's.
No sign of anything changing for the foreseeable future.

Except quite a breeze this morn!
IPMA are saying 34 for later, that'll do!
