It's another bright sunny morning, a bit colder than yesterday at 11.5C as I write at just before 10.00am.

There are just a few wisps of cloud in an otherwise blue sky. There is very little wind.
It's expected to get as high as 19C this afternoon but may become rather cloudy. No rain is forecast.

Tomorrow will probably be the last of the calm and sunny days. The wind will be shifting around to come from the west, bringing cooler and cloudier weather for Friday and the weekend with a good chance of some light showers.

Sea temperature is still 18 - not bad and warmer than the North Sea ever gets
I hate how peopleï compare Frank Zappa to God. I mean, he's cool and great and nice and everything, but he's no Zappa.

Not so nice today. At 0730 the sky was bright red, so shepherd's warning.

It's quite cloudy now, no sun to be seen. Temperature at 9am is 11.3C, there's a very light wind from the north east. It will stay cloudy all day but shouldn't rain. Maximum temperature around 17 or 18C this afternoon. Tonight will be cold again, 7 or 8 away from the coast, 9 or 10 here.

Tomorrow the weather will change. A cold front will move across the country, bringing temperatures down and a cloudy day on Friday and making for a showery weekend.

So, having returned to the UK today we dropped really lucky with the weather we had, but back here? Bah. At 5.00pm it's pitch black, 5 degree's and persisting down! At 5.00pm yesterday we were still sitting by the pool, in shorts, and full daylight/sunshine, and folks wonder why we pine to be back on the Algarve!

Nice to have seen you Andrew, do your best to survive this next few weeks.

1310hrs - I might have to revise this forecast as I can see a raincloud out to sea and it is getting very cloudy.

Today in Albufeira it is a bit cloudy but the sun is up there. Temperature at 0905am is a very decent 13C, there is the lightest of wind more or less from the south. It looks like being not as cloudy later as expected, temperatures should reach 17 or 18 this afternoon. There are some showers on the radar down to the south of us, but they are not expected to come our way today.

It will be fairly cold again tonight, 7 or 8 away from the coast 9 or 10 near the sea. The rain comes tomorrow, quite a lot of it according to the forecast with temperatures in the 15 - 17C range. Sunday will be a bit better, but still with showers around.

0950am and it has just stopped raining after a wet few hours. Temperature id 14.9C, the light wind is swirling around, but from the south-west mainly.

It's going to be a showery day. Out to the west there are patches of brighter sky but little lumps of very dark cloud as well. To the east the sky is very dark where it is probably still raining.

Showers will last all day with temperatures no higher than about 17C. Tonight should be a little warmer than it has been, 11 or 12C. Tomorrow will be rather windy and with more light showers. Things then improve and Monday should be dry, still with some cloud though and the remainder of next week should be fairly settled and dry, same as we had this week until this morning.

After a fairly wet night it's been a cool and damp morning, although it is not raining now. There is plenty of cloud around, temperature at 11am is 12.3C.

There's a steady wind from the west which will bring more showers throughout the day. It will stay cloudy and temperature is unlikely to be more than 14C.

The last of the rain will pass by during the night, which will be fairly cool at around 9C. Tomorrow will see the return of calm and dry weather with wind from the north, clear skies and daytime temperatures around 16C. This should be the situation for the week.

It looks like being a nice day today, blue skies overhead and just a couple of small clouds out to sea.

Temperature at 1015am is 13C, wind is light and from the north.

It might be a little cloudier later with a top temperature of 16C. it won't be very warm tonight, down to about 10C.

The weather this week should be dry, a bit cloudy but reasonably warm for the time of year with daytimes in the 17 - 19C range. It could though get very cold at night with the wind from the north. Current model suggests as low as 3 C at night by the end of the week.

So, what's happened? This morning's weather was definitely not on the agenda. It is very grey and cloudy, there are showers around.

Temperature at 0920am is 14.3C, the air is very damp feeling. The radar shows a lot of isolated showers to the south and west with a good chance of some coming our way. Temperature will rise to 18 or 19C by this afternoon by when the showers should clear away.

It won't be too bad tonight, 10 or 11C then tomorrow and Thursday are supposed to be sunny and warm for the time of year.

I've just walked down to the shop. It's bright and sunny but there is a blustery and quite cold north wind blowing. Temperature at 0950am is 13.6C.

It will be a nice enough day, a bit cloudy later perhaps but enough sun to make it quite warm later, forecast if for 19C. That's around 3C above average for the time of year. It will stay dry.

It will be fairly cool again tonight, around 11C. Tomorrow and Friday will see little change, with bright sunny days and fairly cold nights.

The prediction currently is that the north wind will be with us for another week at least, so the general pattern will not be much different to what it is now, although by the start of next week it could be a little colder.

It's a bright sunny morning but colder than yesterday. Temperature at 1015am is 12.3C, there is a bit of a breeze blowing. It will stay fine and dry all day, with a maximum temperature of 17 or 18C and it will feel quite warm if you are out of the wind.

Tonight will be 11 or 12C.

Tomorrow and Saturday will see little change except perhaps a bit colder at night.

Looking further ahead, Sunday should be fairly pleasant then from Monday it will become cloudier with a chance of a few showers on Tuesday and Wednesday. It will still be fairly warm, in the 16 - 18C range during the day.

It was colder than expected last night. At 745am the thermometer said 8.6C and it was quite misty as well. A couple of hours later, at 0945, it is 10.7C, so a bit colder than yesterday. The mist has mostly cleared, it's mainly blue sky with a bit of high cloud. There is a bit of a breeze, bringing the cold air from inland.

The sun will be out most of the day wit a maximum temperature around 17 or 18C this afternoon. There is no rain around. It sill be cold tonight, 7 or 8C.

The weekend will be fine, sunny and dry. Sunday could be a bit colder than today and tomorrow.
A bit further ahead, Monday and Tuesday could be quite cloudy but still dry then there should be a few more sunny days for the remainder of the week.

Sure am! Still, it is pretty cold this morning by Algarve standards. Temperature at 0920am is 8.2C and the sky is pretty well obscured by low, flat cloud. There's a light wind from the north.

The sun will break through later bringing temperatures up to 16 or 17C this afternoon. it will stay dry.

Tonight will be cold again. Sunday should again be a mainly sunny day and temperatures similar to today.

On Monday things will start to change a little with the wind more from the east making it not quite so cold at night. It will be cloudier and there is a chance of a light shower or two. This goes also for Tuesday then from Wednesday onwards we go back to the cold north wind but with bright and sunny days.
