Yes, also here in Páteo the max yesterday was 31ºC and on that basis we should be there or thereabouts this afternoon. Temperature at 0910 is 26.4ºC, dry air still humidity just 42%.

Clear blue sky, just a little breeze gently ruffling the leaves of the trees opposite. My nose is feeling twitchy, signs of hayfevery type things in the air.

As Andrew says, little change forecast for the next ten days.

Shock horror! Cloud over Albufeira! The planes , still on easterly approaches, so over the town, can't be seen. I should think it will soon clear.
Again very still, 25 degree's already, 31 forecast for later.
Yesterday topped at 33, it was a hot 33 as well if that makes sense.

It is hot again, temperature in Páteo at 1025am is 26.9ºC, still the dry air from inland but the weather map shows it changing to be more from the west later and over the next  two or three days.

The sky is quite hazy and postively dark looking west. There is almost no wind.

Forecast indeed for 31ºC later, which what we had yesterday around 5pm.

After a warm night, it's going to be another hot day today. Temperature at 1045am is 28.6ºC, a couple of degrees almost more than yesterday. The sky is slightly hazy loooking out to sea, blue overhead. There is a gentle breeze.

High today around  31ºC . It may get a lot breezier later as it did yesterday.

A change in wind direction will result in hotter days, 33 or 34 tomorrow and Wednesday, but nights staying reasonable at 21 - 23.

No change expected for the next ten days, daytimes 33 - 35, night times 20 -23 under clear skies.

Someone's given me germs. been up since 7am with the sneezes when it was already 23ºC, probably wasn't much colder all night. Now at 0955 it is 25.9ºC, the sky seems less hazy than the last couple of mornings and there is a bit more of a breeze up here.

Forecast for today is max 32ºC, wind is from the aouth-west ie across the sea so it may be a little more humid. Unsurprisingly, the whole of the inland area of the region is on maximum fire alert. Two small brushfires have been put out over near Faro already today.

Tonight could be a little cooler than of late, down to 19 or 20 perhaps. Tomorrow could hit 35ºC (95ºF), the rest of week temperatures in the low 30's daytime, little change expected for ten days.

It is hot. I surfaced at 8am, still with the sniffles, and it was 23.9ºC and quite windy. Sky is blue, very little haze this morning, still a bit breezy so a good drying day, washing is out!

Temperature at 1045am is 26.2ºC. IPMA daily forecast says 31 max at Faro, 35 here.

We are currently looking at 35ºC for Frday and Saturday and nothing lower in daytime than 30ºC on the ten day forecast. Night-times they say are as low as 18 or 19, not so here in the heat trap of Páteo. It's not humid, the thingy says 44%, so no problem sleeping soundly other than sneezing and spluttering. Whose germs are these?

The sun is just starting to burn off some early morning mist, temperature at 0945 is 25.6ºC, it's rather more humid because of the mist at 56%. It's also quite windy at the moment.

Forecast for today is 32º - 34ºC, the wind is from inland so it ought to be dry and perhaps dusty air later. Tonight will be no lower than 22 or 23.  It's much hotter inland, temperatures of up to 40ºC are expected in the northern Alentejo area.

No appreciable change is seen for the next ten days.

Update 1255 - there is a lot of smoke drifting  across the marina area down below. Nothing on www.fogos.pt - may be worth keeping watch.

There were two small fires yesterday near Armação de Pêra. Smoke from them drifted our way. Peter Cavern said last night that smoke from the big fire near Serta had reached the area of IKEA, where he was buying stuff.

It's hot today, 29.8ºc at 1159am,. clear blue sky, just a slight breeze. High today expected to be 35ºC. Tonight will be no lower than 23 or 24. No change expected for the next few days.

Another bright sunny morning but quite windy today. Tempaerature at 0915am is 24.9ºC, it is also fairly humid today at 56% again. No mist though.

The wind is from across the sea, top temperature today around 32ºC. Tonight will feel cold to some, could as low as 22ºC.

The ten day forecast shows no big change, daytimes in the 30 - 33 range, night-times a bit cooler perhaps 18 - 21 and no chance of rain.

At Last! All sorts of computer and internet problems today. It was decidedly murky outside at 8am but has mostly cleared up now, still a little hazy out to sea though. Temperatrue at 1235 is exactly 30ºC, we are heading for the same 32.3ºC maximum we had yesterday at around 5pm.

There is a slight wind,it's also a the same 56% humidity as yesterday.

Tonight won't be too bad at all, down to 23 in some areas, perhaps a little cooler near the coast. The present weather will remain with us for at least the next week.

Hot and humid, there is a fair breeze though. Temperature at 1055am is 29ºC exactly, humidity 62%, rather more than it has been lately as the wind is coming from across the sea from the south-east.

Slightly hazy again out to sea, blue sky above. IPMA reckons top temperature today 30ºC, maybe higher here I think as it was 33ºC yesterday tea-time. Stuart said it was 38ºC in Silves yesterday, so the further inland the hotter it gets.

All being well a fairly nice night, 18 - 22, not much different for tomorrow but some clouds are forecast for later in the week and beyond, with a shift in the wind from Saturday bringing cooler temaprtures of only 29 or 30 in the daytime, 18 - 20 at night. Little if any chance of rain.
