As far as the weather, read any of the above half dozen..
Welcome light breeze, not a cloud in the sky, sun shine, 26 degree's at 9.30am, IPMA say only 30 for a maximum today but mid to high 30's from tomorrow again. Glorious.

IPMA were wrong, currently 32 degree's and very windy! (What would the temperature be without this wind!?!)
Dunno where the wind sprung up from but the sea is also very quickly rough, very rough.
The inflatable down at Fishermans beach is/was closed, too rough to be safe and all of a sudden about a third of it was detached and out to sea. Don't know if it broke free or because of conditions the owners were fetching it in, as we left the one part was being towed back in by a jet ski and there were guys 'working' on the remaning tethered bit.
In summary, still very hot, windy, the sea is quite rough, yellow flags being flown on the beaches... we've had worse Thursday afternoon's!

My heart bleeds - been raining most of the day here in "sunny" North Norfolk and it hasn't got above 16 degrees.
I hate how peopleï compare Frank Zappa to God. I mean, he's cool and great and nice and everything, but he's no Zappa.

Sorry to rub it in, the strong wind has calmed and allowed the temp up to 34 degree's at 5.30pm, had to get in the pool, nothing else for it! Wink

No change.
It keeps on doing it, light breeze (most welcome), not a cloud to be seen, sun beating down, 27 degree's already..
Last night we couldn't believe how hot it was inside when we got back, the place was like a blast furnace at nearly midnight.

And again.
I think today could be seriously hot, 26 degree's at 9.15am, dead still, not a breath of breeze, not a cloud to see and the sun beats on. Just something about the way this is shaping up say's scorchio this afternoon.
The temperatures we have had with breeze and wind have been above average, unless we get a breeze later today I can't imagine what number we'll hit today.
AA used the word yesterday and he's right, even though this is August it's a 'heatwave', consistently mid to high 30's is a tad above the norm.

Apologies but there's only so many ways I can report the same few items!
They are:-
Not a drop of breeze.
Clear blue sky.
Sun shining.
26 degree's at 9.00am.
Add all that up = glorious, scorchio! And IPMA have it staying in the thirties all through their ten day forecast.

mmm.. today, is a later start!
Earlier it was cooler, only 22 degree's at 9.00am and some light high thin cloud.
The sun has burnt that off now and it's situation normal, warming up quickly, we're now at 26 degree's, IPMA say 30's later (in fact they still say that for next ten days), no breeze and all is well!
I believe Tom is back tomorrow so I'll sign off with all these same as, same as reports! Cheers.

I am indeed back now. Andrew was right, early this morning at 7am when the local wildlife woke me, it was only 21.4C. Now at just after 1030am it is 27.4C, a little hazy overhead and in fact decidedly murky looking out to sea. Max today will be around 31C in a light breeze.

Tonight will again drop to around 21 or 22C. Dress warmly. Tomorrow is expected to be a bit cloudy and 32C, clearer sky and 35 on Wednesday.

Ah ha! Tom is back already, I was just about to add an update 'cos at 12.30 the cloud has fought back, still a nice day but we have a somewhat thicker cloud covering now and just 29 degree's, it could still make IPMA's forecast 32 if the sun wins out but this is, whilst still very acceptable, the poorest weather in the past 14 days, that said, I don't think the word 'poorest' is really applicable!
Perhaps someone is really telling me it's time to butt out for a bit! LOL! Back to you Tom, over and out from moi!

Thanks to Andrew for the weather updates while I was away. Four weeks and only one really horrible rainy day, wasn't bad at all.

Last night was pleasant for sleeping, 22C and not at all humid. Today has started partly cloudy, temperature at 0950am is 25.0C. There is barely a breath of wind.

The clouds should go, today is expected to reach 31C. Nice temperatures again tonight, down to 22C once more.

The next couple of days are expected to be rather hotter, 33 - 35C but still nice at night under clear skies, 22 or 23C,  so no need to worry about sweating in your sleep!
