Another good day coming. Temperature at 1045am is 24.8C, humidity 66%, so perhaps not quite as hot as the same time yesterday.  Blue sky, almost needless to say, and very little wind. Max today 31C.

Tonight, the clear skies and gentle north wind will bring the temperature back down to 19 or 20, so it won't be bad for the light sleepers among you.

No change for tomorrow, but on Sunday the wind will swing around to come from the south west, it could be a bit cloudy and a little less hot.  It's going to stay hot, in fact for next Thursday the current predicition is for 37C (99F in old style) which is way, way, above what might be expected at any time of the year. Excuse to seek shelter in alehouse watching a spot of jolly old tennis or cricket, providing they aren't rained off. Then comes the second Euro 2016 semi-final.

It was quite windy during the night and into the early hours of this morning. It has calmed down a bit now, but there's still a noticeable breeze blowing. Temperature at 1015am is 25.8C, humidity shown at 55%. Today's high expected to be 30 or 31C, clear skies and probably getting windy again later.

It will stay quite warm tonight, no lower than 22 or 23C.

Tomorrow could be a little cloudy and not quite so hot as today. (Inland, temperatures of 39C are forecast but also showers!). Monday will be cooler still, perhaps only 26C. Thunderstorms are forecast for the centre of the country, so anyone flying that day could have a bumpy ride.

Towards the end of next week, temperatures will climb once more with 37 and 38 predicted for next weekend.

'ot. 'otter than yesterday, 27.9C at 1030am Very dry air too, humidity down to 49%.

It's slightly hazy out there and there is a bit of a breeze blowing. Forecast for today is for 30C.

It will be another warm night tonight, no lower than about 23C.

Monday and Tuesday look like being rather cooler than today, could be as low as 25C daytime under cloudy skies. From Wednesday onwards temperatures will be climbing into the mid-30's.

It's rather hazy looking out to sea, almost foggy in fact. 100% cloud cover at the moment. Temperature at 0920am is 25.9C, humidity back up to 74%. There is a slight breeze from the south.

It will stay cloudy today with temperature not really getting much warmer unless the cloud burns off. Toinight will be a warm one, 23C or so.

The next couple of days won't be as hot as the weekend, maximum temperatures in the daytime only around 25 or 26 along the coast. There will be quite a bit of cloud.  Much hotter inland with a risk of thunderstorms that might affect flights as they cross the centre of the country.

Cloudy this morning, not quite so warm as yesterday at 23,8C but a little more humid at 79%. There is very little wind.  The cloud is espected to be around most of the day, temperature will not be much higher than 25 or 26.

Tonight will be warm once again, 20 or 21C. Tomorrow will see little change from today, Thursday though will be a little warmer but with a slight risk of a shower or two. Further inland some very unsettled and possibly thundery weather is possible.

It has been a very cloudy day so far. no sun seen at all. It's exactly 26C at 1205hrs, not so humid as yedsterday with the dial showing 66% as I write. There's a very light wind from the south.

The official forecast predicted a max of 24C, so that's wrong! The sun will stay behind clouds though so it won't be any warmer later.

Tonight it will be fairly pleasant at 19 or 20C. Tomorrow will be a little less cloudy than today and with similar temperatures, then for Friday, according to IPMA, the high will be 34C with a dry wind coming down from the north.

Max today no more than 27C. Tonight 19 / 20C, tomorrow and weekend forecast is downgraded to only 30C daytime, 25C at night.

Hmmm - they are now saying 37C for today on one page, 34C on another, so perhaps there was a glitch in the website.

Anyway, today is rather warmer than yesterday, 28.6C at 1105am, humidity 72% and just a little breeze, now from the north.  Blue sky overhead, just a little hazy out to sea.

So, as above, somewhere in the mid 30's expected later today. and down to 20 or 21 tonight, warmer inland.

The forecast for the next ten days has temperatures in the low to mid 30's in the daytime, 19 - 22 C at night along the coast. Even a little way inland, eg Silves, temperatures are showing a couple of degrees more.

According to my thermometer it never got above 31 yesterday.
However at 6.30am this morning it's showing 25 and this is confirmed by Forcea who say the max today will be 32.
