I read earlier that from next month charges for domestic water supply and consumption etc will be reduced here in Albufeira. It's a bit complicated, but so far as I can tell most domestic consumers will benefit by 2 or 3 Euros a month at least.

Small businesses will also receive lower bills.

Received my water bill earlier. The daily fixed supply charge has gone down from 0.165 € to 0.083 € and the daily residuos solidos charge from 0.1467 to 0.1133 per day. My bill is €4.11 less than the previous one for the same consumption.

Unit costs for supply of water per cubic metre are unchanged.
