Hi all - having a great holiday in albufeira at the moment but I was wondering if someone could help me. Our 14 month old is getting a bit cold in the pool and we want to get him a wetsuit. Is there a specialist swimwear/kids shop that stock them? Internet research suggests zoggs do one. Any help gratefully appreciated.

There's a shop called Sportzone in Albufeira shopping Mall (Continente), its downstairs on the left at the rear, maybe they might stock something. Sports Direct opposite Algarve shopping  @ Guia  & next door to Makro might stock something too but its a good way out of Albufeira. Also you could ask at the diving outlet called Indigo Divers  facing the rear of the bullring, next door to the municipal market they might give you a lead on where to get one. Good Luck.

Sport Direct did the trick, many thanks, Portuguese children must be a bit smaller because he fitted an age 2 -3!

No it's not that, the Portuguese retailers have not yet latched on to the fact that in the last 40 years + (since the end of the dictatorship)improved nutrition and population movement has meant that the average Portuguese person is probably 2 sizes bigger than they were.

Give them another 20 years and the retailers might just have caught up...
