What's going on ? 1st February and we have just been forced to turn the heating off because its too bloody warm. Checked the temperature on the cars thermometer and its a remarkable 16 c in sunny Fleetwood with hardly a cloud in the sky.

Been raining all this week in S Wales, as it is today, but managed to repair a section of fence in a dry spell yesterday.
It's wet in Torremolinos same in Albufeira so it seems. |

Am up in the Scotish boarders at the moment.
Weather today cold but mild for this area in Feb. There's snow on the higher areas that I can see, but nothing lower down. Although there was a few grainy flakes earlier. |

The snow showers continue on & off, but it's refusing to settle - yippee!
Dave was at work at Heathrow yesterday, offloading bags from a New York flight, and the container still had 4 inches of New York snow on the top!!! Brrrrr |

We seem to have missed the worst of it here.
It has rained off and on most on the day but not heavily, It is breezy but not gale force and as for the snow, it hasn't materialised either. Feel sorry for those who have been affected badly though. |

As usual there was a great hoo and a ha about "Doris". Maybe they're still smarting from the Michael Fish storm in '87 and are being super cautious. It's a wee bitty nippy here (+1c) and a bit of slush on the road which numpty drivers have made worse. However, not a big deal.

It is no coincidence that in no known language does the phrase 'As pretty as an Airport' appear. Douglas Adams

I`m starting to sound like a long play record nowadays, but it has been full sun and 18c today on the Sunny Fylde Coast. 17 week and two days to arrival in Albufeira, but who the hell is counting ?
