Doesn't anyone that uses this forum have any money?
Saving on Tolls, Flights, Supermarket prices, Bank Charges and Interest Rates, Bar Prices etc. etc.? I am by no means "minted" but am beginning to think I found the wrong forum? It also seems a bit too "cosy" too......... i.e. "cliquey" too

Nah never Stevie, everyone (maybe not you lol) loves a bargain.that's what makes the world go round. There are rip off merchants everywhere and nowt worse than being ripped off. Re Cliquey well that's your opinion which you are entitled too.

Yes ... take it while you can ... I have stocked up for this autumn at the good rate .. it certainly won`t last that long, bound to be affected by Scotland`s vote, where JP Morgan has predicted a potential 10% fall.
Pound is the 4th ranked world currency ... tiny by comparison to Euro ( the biggest issued currency) and Dollar (the biggest traded) .. so small weaknesses in those sees BIG swings in sterling. Wikipedia has a fairly good history of pound`s disastrous history since Callaghan had to beg from the IMF .. Interestingly the £1 of 1971, will now buy you something around 7 pence ... |
