I hate how peopleï compare Frank Zappa to God. I mean, he's cool and great and nice and everything, but he's no Zappa.

Rate received for 200 euro last week using Halifax Clarity Card:
07 Feb 15Intermarche Torre Medr ALBUFEIRA PRT147.46

By my reckoning works out 1.356 to the pound
Long may it continue.

Goodness me, 1.3662!
Will we see it break 1.4 anytime soon? I reckon about 7 years since it was at that level.

Only 1.295 for cash in town yesterday. Seems the cambios are not being as generous as the big banks etc.

Graph of the last three months - 10 cents more for your pound over that time.

It was 1.21 exactly a year ago, on 24th Feb 2008 1.325

Still, 1.36 on the commercial rate is good for us poor old pensioners who are paid in £. More beer for the same money.

On Thursday it reached a seven year high, late yesterday afternoon it was even higher at 1.38.
The milestone 1.4 gets ever closer!
