I hate how peopleï compare Frank Zappa to God. I mean, he's cool and great and nice and everything, but he's no Zappa.

Yet our economy is doing that well, compared to Euroland, that they want an extra £850 million from the UK.

Not going to Albufeira until next June but thought the rate was too good to wait. Just had delivered to our door 1100 euro for the cost of £904.57 from Santander. Good deal ? or could I have done better elsewhere ?.

Not bad, FairFX currently would have been £896.13, so you'd have been eight and a half squids better off.

Low inflation figures again so sadly no chance of an imminent interest rate rise. Cry

Thanks for including the Canadian rate as well, Cubsur. Been reading the grocery store fliers online so I know the portugese names for food stuffs (yes - I am a nerd that way..) and was curious as to how prices compare to my local supermarket. Nice to know what rate is charged rather than the online currency converter .
