Back up to the mid 1.14's after the BOE monthly vote on interest rates was only 5-3 in favour of keeping them at 0.25%
I hate how peopleï compare Frank Zappa to God. I mean, he's cool and great and nice and everything, but he's no Zappa.

Only 1.0975 on the high street here in the North East this morning. Glad I brought back 50 Euros from our last trip for the next one. 🤣🤣🤣

Look back to the first posts in this thread from 2009 when the rate was as low as 1.04. Here where I am in Bordeaux just now, it's 1 Euro = 92p.

hate to think what it is now ... sterling is just a couple of cents above its five year low in October last year.

BBC has `tourist rate at 1.08 today ... suppose that will be around 1.05 in Albufeira ...

The top currency card, FairFX, is giving 1.084 on £1000
Wonderful Post Office are giving 1.06 on £1000.
Thomas Cook .. order on line pick-up in branch ... 1.081
