Back to Gale yesterday, great walking, the sea was really churning out some energy, note the sand that's gone as all the rainwater formed a river and nature does what nature does. All very refreshing.

If adding to an existing item, click on reply (to the right of the post, not the quick reply below) which will open up the big box with all the icons.

You can add text before the picture or afterwards. Click where you want it.

Then, having remembered where you put the photo on your computer, click the icon above that looks like a tree, click 'choose file' to bring up a 'map' of your computer's folders, to to the right one, choose the photo on your machine and click upload.

When it's visible click OK below the preview box, then 'post reply.

Photos ideally 800 x 600 or 1000 x 750 or similar ratios. Larger photos may be too big for the upload let alone people's screens. I use MS Paint to resize big photos to smaller size.

If creating a new item, you will see the 'tree' straight away.

Dunno, don't have either! Perhaps ask Administrator if he doesn't notice this.

The image you are trying to upload from your phone is probably too large (over 2mb) to upload to the forum. You'll need to scale it down somehow. I know it works on Android phones.
The forum also isn't really optimized to be viewed on small screens unfortunately...

It is often not working. The mechanism was damaged by the heavy rain two weeks ago. They may be waiting for new equipment.

Only the top 'up' escalator was working yesterday afternoon. An engineer was working down in the equipment pit, surrounded by cogs and wheels and motors all in pieces.

Yesterday afternoon

Over at Praia da Oura the level of sand is very low. Lots of rocks and stones visible as the tide was going out. These were taken a couple of hours later than those above.
