I took some pictures from there myself last year,great location at night.Looking back at the first pictures taken in 2009 the beach has really changed.I will be back out in Sept,we might meet at my local Daimlers.

Yes the project that made the beach wider and protect the cliffs from erosion has also created a lot more space for tourists. The highest tides still come right up the base of the cliff by the lift, which is why it's closed in winter.
