5 weeks from Monday for me too. Looking forward to the break. Love to walk from Forte do São Joao into town every morning when I am there. Beach looks lovely at present.

Hi bebop we do that most mornings also. Will be there 2 weeks Sunday. Do you stay in the Forte do Sao Joao area.

Got to admit I arrived at the right time, the beach walks have been glorious in this yes....GLORIOUS sunshine. Beaches look fabulous. Rather Hot too.

Cheekygirl, Yes, we usually stay in that area. Nice and quiet, yet close to town. Lovely to be so close to the beach and as I said, love the walk to town.

The giant bouncy castle thing has appeared off the eastern end of the town beach, ready for the hordes.

I just saw another one of these bouncy castles just on the town beach as well. It wasn't there on Tuesday evening when I walked by, but was there yesterday evening. I cannot post pictures, but I'm sure that somebody good with a camera will do so soon.

I expect it to be operational this weekend which is when the local high schools break up for the summer. I will be in town tomorrow so will have a good look and take some pictures of people roasting.
