On this occasion we stayed in an apartment in Verandas do Mar but a similar view over the Old Town and the Fisherman's Beach can be had from Cerro Branco slightly further up.

I took my night shot while the camera was on top of a dustbin for steadiness.

I was tidying up some old albums and found this one all by itself. One from the memory banks.

Picture is from April 2007, shortly after the demolition of the fishermen's area and before the fish market building came down.

They seem to have been using this particular chute since I started coming to Albufeira. No wonder it's full of holes!
