Yesterday afternoon there was a positive deluge for an hour so.

Today it has been grey, very windy especially earlier and raining on and off. Now at 1105am there is a kind of low misty cloud just passing by, it has just stopped raining. Temperature is 17.2C

It looks there will be a short break from the rain, but the radar show another line of fairly heavy showers about 60km offshore and heading our way.

The wind is from the south-west still, so it means damp but fairly warm air. Tonight will be 15C at worst. Tomorrow will be cloudy, probably dry and a bit warmer than today if the sun comes out. Monday is once more going to be a showery day.

Well, to the west of Albufeira, just, we had no further rain after that very early morning stuff but we took a trip to the Bull Ring area, everything was bone dry until we got to Watches roundabout and then, torrential, I see what Dicey was referring to, the surface water on the roads was unbelievable.
It stopped raining whilst we were there and we returned to the West at lunch time. It is amazing how locallised the weather can be, and drastically so as well.
Since lunch? Lo and behold, still no rain and the clouds have lifted, still about but not blanket, and the sun is shining and it's a lovely afternoon, didn't expect this.

It looks a cracker! There is no breeze at all, as still as something that's very still!
Sun is up, there is cloud but it looks mighty fine.
Sadly for us, we're away to the UK today, back in a fortnight though! Wink

It was certainly bright and sunny earlier but it is clouding over a bit now. It's also quite breezy up here in Páteo. Temperature at 1215 is 18.2C and there is no rain around at the moment. It does look like staying dry today.

Tonight will be fine and no lower than about 14C, but tomorrow is going to see a lot fo dark clouds and some rain when a flow of very warm but moist air comes up from the south. it could be 21C tomorrow but raining. Some showers will last into Tuesday and quite likely there will be more showery spells for most of next week.

My thermometers say it is 19C (at 1125am) bit it doesn't feel like that. The sky is mostly blue, there are a few very small fluffy clouds, there is a bit of a wind and I can see a yacht tacking across a fairly choppy looking sea.

No rain is expected until later this afternoon, it might be a little warmer later despite that.  The area of rain is currently down off the coast to the west but it slowly coming this way. Tonight will temperatures fall to  around 12C.

Rain is expected tonight and all day tomorrow. Temperatures will be 18 or 19C daytime, warmish but damp with 15C at night. Wednesday will be a mix of sun and showers, temperature 18C daytime, 12  at night and that probably goes for Thursday and Friday as well.

It's been a wet night. lots of rain coming up from the tropic of wotsit. There is more to come.

It's not raining at the moment but it is very cloudy out to the south, which is where it is coming from. Temperature at 1025am is 17.9C, it is fairly breezy. We might get up to 19C later, but there are another couple of bands of rain coming our way.

Tonight will be warm at 15C and damp, the showers will peter out during the night.

Tomorrow will be a mix of sunny bits and showers, 19C max, and a bit colder at night. Thursday forecast is for similar temperatures and occasional light showers.

Further ahead, it seems the cloudy weather will be changing to sunny and much warmer weather over the weekend with temperatures up to the mid 20's by the middle of next week. Cue hayfever!

Grim. A very heavy shower has just passed over and another is looming. Looks like it's going to be a few wet hours at least.

Temperature at 1115am is 16C. It won't get much warmer later. The showers should ease off later and it will be a fairly cool night, down to 12C perhaps. There will be light and intermittent showers tomorrow, temperature 19 or 20C then Friday should be a dry and cloudy day, maybe a little warmer.

Things are forecast to get better from Saturday with 28 C currently on the cards for next Tuesday and Wednesday.

It as a better morning than expected, quite bright with mostly sun but the clouds are now building up. It's quite windy as well. Temperature at 1315hrs is a whole 19.4C, probably as warm as it is going to get. I cannot see any rain coming our way just yet.

It won't be all that warm tonight, down to 12C perhaps.

Tomorrow will be another cloudy day, temperature similar to today and should be dry. Warmer weather starts to come our way from Saturday, temperatures rising to the low 20's. But for next week they have scaled it back a bit to only 25C daytime during the week, down to 11 or 12 at night in under clear skies. Staying dry. Wrap up well if going out.

Today has been cloudy so far and quite windy up here at least.

Temperature at 1055am is 18.9C. The radar shows a few showers to the west and north, there is chance that some might come our way later. It won't get much warmer.

Tonight will be cool, 12C, and feel damp.

The weekend looks like being fairly sunny on Saturday with 19C, much warmer on Sunday at 23C with air coming from inland. The whole of next week will be very pleasant in comparison to recent days, warm and sunny with temperatures reaching 25C.

There was some heavy rain in the early hours that woke me up. Today so far has been overcast, fairly gloomy in fact and it shows no signs of clearing up.

Temperature at 1155am is 18.3C, just a slight wind. The cloud will stay, max temperature not much more than it is now. Tonight will be 14C, which is about normal for the time of year.

A better day is expected tomorrow, a bit of cloud but warmer, up to 22C after early cloud has cleared. Then from Monday we will be in a waft of hot air, temperatures up to 25C during the day also quite high at night at first, then cooling down rapidly under clear skies.

It's been a nice sunny day, a bit windy but the warmest day for as long time. Temperature at 1.30pm is 22.6C.

Not a speck of rain anywhere on the radar, so a dry day. Tonight the skies will be clear so temperature will fall to around 14C.

The next few days will be sunny and quite warm, 23 or 24C during the day, 15 or 16 at night. The wind will be coming from the polleny and duty interior, so hay fever suffers beware. Under the clear skies it could be quite cod at night later in the week, down to 9 or 10C in sheltered spots.

And today looks like being a very nice day indeed, a big change from recent gloom.

Bright blue skies, only a slight wind and the temperature at 1025am is 21.3C. It's dry air from inland,. so later we could have 24 or even 25C. It won't rain.

Tonight will see the temperature fall to around 16C, still very acceptable.

The next couple of days will be a little cloudy but still warm and dry, around 23C, which is a little above average for the time of year. It should stay that way until at least next weekend, although the nights will be a little colder in the north wind if it blows a bit harder than it is now.

Here comes summer!
Have you seen the IPMA 10 day forecast? Mid twenties this week and 28 and 29 early next week, bring it on!
