Well, we're back on it!
Not a breath of breeze, in fact it's so still it's almost eery, 19 degree's already at 9.15am, some cloud but a lot of blue and the sun is doing it's stuff so mid to high 20's later would seem likely.
It peaked at 26 yesterday and that was as late as 5.00pm. Great stuff for early April.

Great day yesterday, topping out at 26 during the afternoon and then the cloud came in at around 5.20pm and sadly, it's still here.
Currently a pleasent 20 degree's, slight breeze but cloudy and looking out to sea there's that haze that suggests to me we may see a shower or two later on. That said, the suns just found a break in the cloud and is smiling nicely upon us.
Happy Easter everyone.

Well 22 was as good as it got yesterday with the cloud winning out, it started to break up early evening and I thought we were set fair for a nice day today. Alas the cloud is back, pretty grey and overcast, currently 18 degree's and a bit breezy, the sun is there but will it be strong enough to see the haze and cloud off? I doubt it I'm afraid.

Mmmm... mid-day update: raining, grey, damp and totally overcast, just 20 degree's. A day to put my feet up and watch the footy me thinks!
The forecast for the rest of this week get's worse with proper rain, not the showers of today, forecast from tomorrow and temperatures down in mid teens, sorry.

Last week we had better than average, this week the pendulum has swung back.
Heavy rain through the night until early hours then the wind moved in, it's blowing a hoolie now! Whistling and rattling away. Very cloudy but the sun is making occasional appearances, just 17 degree's at the mo but dry.
The forecast is for it to stay dry and clear up for this afternoon with a high of a dizzy 21, tomorrow is forecast wet, getting wetter through the day with a high of only 16.

It is absolutely blowing a gale out there! Garden furniture has become mobile and I'm expecting to see tree's felled if this carries on. I don't recall ever experiencing such strong and sustained wind out here before. (Wind as in weather!) The only positive is that the sun is out and we're up to 19 degree's. the wind is from the east so it's keeping the temperature down.

Well surprisingly it made 24 degree's today, in the shade and sheltered from the wind, which whilst strong and persistent still, has not been as aggressive as it was this morning. Sadly we return to the UK in the morn so unless anyone else wants to grab the baton you'll have to wait for Tom's return for future daily updates. Cheers for now.

I'm not suggesting anyone goes out in the wind & rain but I'd be interested, when everything calms down, whether there has been any damage to the beaches similar to that in previous Winter storms?

It was pretty much the same around this time last year - 1st, 2nd & 3rd of April 50+ kmph winds and 20+ mm of rain

I hate how peopleï compare Frank Zappa to God. I mean, he's cool and great and nice and everything, but he's no Zappa.
