It was pretty good. The mist cleared an hour or so later. There was a build up of cloud during the afternoon and some were quite dark over the hills.

This morning it is very steamy.  Temperature at 1040am is 24.3C, humidity 79%.  There is a lot of cloud, especially to the west. The radar shows some isolated showers heading in our general direction and a larger area of quite stormy looking weather down to the south west, about 200km offshore.  We may well get some rain later.

The sun will stay behind clouds so it won't get much warmer. Any rain is expected to pass through during the night, leaving tomorrow and Tuesday fairly pleasant at around 24C, some clouds will still be with us.

Thick fog, which is only just starting to clear. Temperature at 1100am is 25.4C, very damp feeling with all the murk around.

The fog will soon be gone, it will get a little warmer with just a light breeze. There is some cloud and off to the west is a line of showers. There is an outside chance that one might come our way later. Tonight will be cloudy and fairly warm at around 20C, tomorrow is going to probably be foggy again at first then a little cloudy and 24 or 25C, some rain is currently forecast for Wednesday.

It's fairly cloudy this morning, but the sun's out and there is a light breeze from the south.
Temperature at 0940am is 24.2C, it's still feeling fairly damp with humidity at 74%.

Today will see 25 or 26C, it will be cloudy but no rain is forecast. Tonight will be around 18 or 19C.

For tomorrow there is a good chance of showers but it will stay warm. They pass by on Thursday. The weekend should be dry but quite cloudy, the outlook for next week is light showers with sunny spells.

Update 1305hs

Very dark skies and it has just started to rain. Wind is increasing too. The radar has a whole bunch of showers to the south and another lot just crossing the coast north east of Lagos.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Temperature at 0855 is 23.6C, it's feeling damp at 76% humidity. There's a little bit of a wind, coming from the south.

There are some small and scattered showers down to the south but of more concern is a line of storms to the south west. Some do look extremely nasty on the radar. One set is just off Lagos and behind it is a large area of thundery looking stuff. You can keep an eye on that at http://www.ipma.pt/pt/otempo/obs.radar/index.jsp

Later today should see 25C but with a strong chance of showers. Tonight will be ok at 19 or 20C, tomorrow similar to today then Friday it's going to be a nicer day all round after the rain has gone.

It's been a nice morning, a bit windy and there is some cloud.

Temperature at 1145am is 25.1C, still damp and humid at 76%. The wind is coming from the south and may bring one or two small showers with it later. It won't be anything like yesterday lunchtime's downpour if it does.

It will be cooler tonight than of late, down to 17 - 19C.Tomorrow looks like being another showery day but still warm, the weekend looks like being dry and mainly sunny.

Yesterday's thunderstorm saw the storm drain at Inatel overflowing in a bad way. The sudden downpour caused lots of black, smelly run off to cascade across the beach into the sea to the despair of holiday makers.

Interestingly one of the beach lifeguards ran to the flagpole and lowered & removed the Blue Flag in great haste.

Yes I cannot understand how that beach gets a blue flag when there is an open storm water drain right across the beach. There were pipes under the sand but they weer destroyed in a storm a couple of years back and were never replaced.

This morning at 0830 it was 24C and foggy. Now I am at the airport on my way to some time in the early English autumn. It is much brighter in Faro so I expect Albufeira will be sunny again later as it was yesterday.  There is a slight chance of a shower later. Tonight will be another nice one at around 19C, but still feeling damp in the moist tropical air.

A warm weekend is forecast, 25 or 26C, but there will still be early mist or fog and also some cloud. Rain is unlikely.

Daily weather resumes on 28th September.

We left lunchtime on Wednesday and weather was ok up our end until we hit Pata Do Baixo/ Vale De Carro  it then  started to rain but nothing hard  until we hit Maritenda/Boulequeime, after that was ok  straight through to airport and even boarding plane @ 15.30hrs  it was full sunshine.Arrived back in UK too to a very mild lovely evening.

BTW  couldn't believe the bad  mist (looked like fog) we experienced in early hours  of Monday/Tuesday  02.00hrs and also same around 11.30 hrs same morning, then it cleared up to full sun.

Not looking too clever for the rest of the week either
I hate how peopleï compare Frank Zappa to God. I mean, he's cool and great and nice and everything, but he's no Zappa.

Been intermittent cloud for a few days now but we've had plenty of sunshine in between but after the rain this morning its stayed cloudy. As dicey says the outlook is looking like more of the same all week. Still beats being at work though. And warm enough to relax n chill.. hey ho
