A good day in prospect. Clear blue skies, just a little breeze, temperature at 1100am is 25.2C.

Today's forecast high is 27C, same as yesterday.

Tonight will be a little warmer than of late, 20C or so.

Tomorrow will be warmer still, 28C, and Friday should see 30C as we head into a hot weekend.

It's a little cloudy this morning, but high cloud so nothing much to worry about. Temperature at 0930 is 23.6C, there is a slight breeze.

Forecast for today is staying a little cloudy, maximum temperature 28C.

Tonight will again be a pleasant one, not too much wind and a temperature of around 20C.

Tomorrow should be a little warmer than today, but the Saturday forecast has come down a bit , with only 28C expected and quite a bit of cloud.

We are currently in Praia da Luz where the temperature today reached 31 degrees according to the TV and that well known weather source, two chemist's signs. Forecast for tomorrow is 34.

There are some whisps of Cirrus off to the West but otherwise it's a cloudless sky with light winds.

We'll be in Albufeira from Sunday so would be grateful if you could get rid of "that quite a bit of cloud" please.

Update 1915hrs. Temperature is 28.7C.  Most of the cloud had gone by teatime and it became very windy.

IPMA is forecasting 25C for Saturday but only 28C for Sunday, 30C for Monday.

Update the 10 day forecast at http://www.ipma.pt/pt/otempo/prev.localidade/index.jsp?localID=8&cidadeID=131

Must have made a mistake! Sorry. Anyway they are now forecasting 35C for Saturday.

The forecast for today on the 'current' page is for 29C, on the 10 day page it says 33C, for Saturday 30 and 35 respectively.

This morning is a little breezy, not as much as yesterday evening. Blue sky overhead, a little hazy looking out to sea. Temperature at 1005am is 25.6C, as above the forecast for today is 29C on one page, 33C on another!

Tonight will be nice again, 21 or 22C. The weekend daytimes will be 30 - 35 C, hot in other words. At night 22 or 23. There could be some cloud around, particularly on Saturday and the hot wind is coming from the south.

Next week should be fine and dry, temperatures in the high 20's at least, perhaps 30 or 31 on Monday and Tuesday.

It's rather cloudy this morning but fairly warm and feeling slightly clammy.

Temperature at 0910am is 26.3C, humidity 66%. There's steady breeze moving teh leaves on the trees.

Forecast for today is for 30C, staying quite cloudy. The wind will pick up later.

Tonight will be a bone-chilling 23C (everyone on Trip Advisor is complaining how cold it is at night. They have obviously forgotten what the temperature is in DAYTIME where they come from - and it isn't raining either!).

Tomorrow will be a little cooler than today, the wind will be from the south and south-west, so maybe as low as 26C then Monday about the same. These are by the way the average temperatures for late August.

(everyone on Trip Advisor is complaining how cold it is at night.

For me the cooler nights are a real bonus, I have been in Spain, Turkey Greece etc where on a night it is still 27-28 degrees and I find it difficult to sleep. You put the air con on fall asleep, wake up cold, turn the air con off,  fall asleep wake up hot and repeat and wake up knackered ! The Portuguese climate IMO is excellent, hot days but not sweaty and oppressive due to the breeze and cooler nights meaning a decent nights sleep!!   Thumbs Up

It was a bit sweaty earlier this morning. Now there is a blanket of low cloud and it's rather murky out there. And quite humid.

Temperature at 1055am is 27.5C, humidity shows 66%. There is a quite a wind blowing as well.

It won't get much warmer as the cloud will be around more or less all day. The radar shows a possible shower or two just off Faro heading inland. I don't think it will rain here.

Further north the radar shows a nasty looking storm just over the border in Spain, right on the flight path from the UK. Could be a little bumpy for some.

Tomorrow is expected to be cloudy again, wind from the south west and a little cooler at 25C, Tuesday should be sunny and 27C.

Cloud seems to be thinning out. It is quite humid (70%) with temperature at 0925 at 24.3C.

It will be a bit cloudy all day, top temperature no more than 25 or 26.

The radar shows a band of rain travelling north-west to south-east across the region. I would not be too surprised if there were a few spots later.

It be a nice night, not so warm as the weekend, 19C - 20C. Then Tuesday and Wednesday look like being fine and sunny, 27C which is about average for early September.

Yep, the clouds thinned, it's a nice afernoon now, 27 degree's, a breeze, sun shining and a few high clouds but all very acceptable.
Cricket to watch in a bit, Bank Holiday bliss (even though it's not a Bank Holiday over here).

The man did good. Spent the day at Gale where it was glorious. Also saw the donkey & cart and also the two carriage brown and white tourist train in the Gale car park.

My wife informs me that the dolphins on their roundabout need cleaning although I didn't notice as I was having a small argument with a wayward minibus at the time. N

i think all the roundabouts need serious intensive care! and thats the centres - not the driving! Wish the council would let people sponsor the roundabouts - would all look smart then.
