Today is bright, some high haze which will burn off very soon, some cloud way out to sea, otherwise blue skies, light breeze and the sun on scene to do what it does.
Cooler than previous, in fact in the shade at the mo quite cool, temp at 8.30 only 21 but should still be a great day up to 30 with a bit of luck later.

Great day yesterday, exactly as forecast.
Today good but not as good.
Light intermittent breeze, some cloud, some sun, at 9.00am it was 22 degree's and 28 is expected later. If the cloud clears it maybe a bit hotter than that but we'll have to see what the cloud does.
The rest of this week is expected to hit mid twenties only, until Saturday when it's back into the 30's going forward. No rain forseen for next ten days.
Still, a very pleasant day in store today.
UPDATE. 2.15 pm, most of the cloud has gone, 95% blue skies, occasional isolated fluffy cloud drifting by and already 29 degree's. It the cloud doesn't return or the breeze change I can see 32/33 again around 4.00 to 6.30pm this after... a glorious day.

Bit windy and cooler last night and not many clients wanted to use the terrace after 8pm - very windy night and still so this morning albeit gusty. Blue skies and sunny during the rugby half time and currently 22C. Forecast is for warmer later and last few days 4.30-6.30pm appears to be the hottest part of the day! Especially if stuck in traffic on the magic roundabout! AKA the EN 125 around Vilamoura!!

Ended up at 28C and was a bit windy.
Funny one last night, I'd seen the temp drop down to 21C when Chez got home around 11pm. Sat outside grabbing a beer and within 30 mins remarked that the breeze felt much warmer and saw temp had climbed to 25.4C at about midnight!
Anyway, feels a lot hotter today and still blustery but clear blue skie and a lovely day

From IPMA's ten day forecast, today, tomorrow and Friday don't get out of the 20's but, Saturday onwards it looks like the heat of the summer moves in, solid 30's including a 35. This is only mid July, imagine what late July and August are going to be, bring it on!

And IPMA are standing their ground, next Wed, Thur and Friday they are saying 37 and 38 degree's... that is seriously hot! They are also saying, all week, solid sun, no cloud at all for the whole week. Oh Algarve we love you!

Excellent, I arrive on Wednesday for 3 weeks. Must say that this year I have had really great weather every visit, March, April and May. A lot warmer than usual it seems to be a particularly hot year.

Yes, agree with that, consistently 4 or 5 degrees hotter than average through this year, August next for us, I suspect we might hit the magic 40!

Just seen IPMA are reporting 39 degrees today! The next week is forecast around 32 to 35, that'll do nicely, more than enough!

Just observations from afar. From the Sol e Mar cam (which isn't rotating for me) it looks like next to no breeze, the two red flags on the terrace are hanging with barely a flutter, I can just see the sea edge and it's very smooth, there are people on the beach, clearly another nice day and IPMA forecast 28 degree's, nice.

It was less windy for a few days but its been back the last 4 or 5 days making it feel nippy after sunset for some. So variable - at 8:30 just now, only 17.5C but will be good later without the silly high 30C's which are no use to anyone!
