On strike today and several flights delayed or cancelled. Not sure how long this one will last but other dates in June are already known. Disapprove

We fly on Monday - fingers crossed

BTW has anyone of you Ryanair  lovers noticed they are now doing an extra class, called Leisure Plus for approx £40 more than  Normal Flight class.
Besides Normal class  (Flight only pay for  all extras):  Business Plus  ( Flight, priority seat, fast track, ticket flexibility, airport check in, priority boarding, sms itinerary)  & now Leisure Plus (Flight , Any Seat, 20kg luggage, and priority boarding}. Think it needs some research to see if it's worth it or  not, or is it just another so called marketing ploy to make you think you are getting something for nothing :-). BTW I love Ryanair, never had a problem with them, only qualm is all  walking & the steps you have to confront at Faro to get to  board the plane.

Yes P, noticed the adverts in ambundance when we travelled with them last week. Not really bothered about priority this and that and only take hand luggage so unless there were unusual circumstances then not really worth it for me. BTW yes the steps were a slight problem for us as there was 12 of us each with a bag but including 5 grandchildren who couldn't carry their own. So we had to get one remaining buggy (other 3 left at bag drop) all the kids and cases, some left as free hold baggage, across the airport assault course. Great fun but hey had a nice relaxing week in the sun thanks very much.

In a way Pauline that suits us if we are travelling with Grandaughter I always pay for allocated seating just to be sure. So instead of paying for 3 seats will only have to pay for one. Do the same for Daughter and Grandaughter when they travel alone.
Mind having said that Daughter had a ding dong with stewardess last flight when she wanted Daughter to move from aisle seat...which I had pre-booked...to accomodate a person who wanted to sit with his family in row opposite. Stewardess did not seem to grasp the privilege had been paid for.

Paul it shouldn't be allowed when you have pre paid for seats. I would not have moved under those circumstances. Seems Ryanair say that anyone who has prepaid for seats will not be asked to move by cabin crew only those who have been allocated them when checking in online.
We could have saved ourselves £40 on our Sept flights if this new rule had previously been in force.

For Scottish viewers, Ryanair are running winter 16-17 flights from Prestwick .. and the airport have used Cubsur`s site as local transport link for Faro .. www.algarvebus.info

Ryanair have also announced three new destinations from Newcastle for 2017 including FARO 5 days a week.

I haven't flown with them before but it gives more competition on the route.
