Unbelievable day, 26 degrees earlier and still 23 at 7.00 pm, which according to IPMA, was a degree warmer than Albufeira!!! What?

Got 23 right now but has been very windy all day. Up to 28 at lunchtime. The cucumber slice nearly blew outta my Pimms!

Finally had a summer's day here, 23C with pleasant breeze.
Very pleased considering on Thursday I was annoyed I hadn't put a scarf on - it was 10C at 10am that day! Silly British weather! ! |

Apparently it's 27° here in Manchester. Can't sit in it for some reason in this country when it's so hot. Perhaps it's time to get the parasol out. If I do I am sure it will start raining

It's been a great week weather wise with yesterday reaching 25c and similar temperatures expected today. However it looks like coming to an end tomorrow with some rain forecast. Boo

Friends report wicked weather in south-east London overnight. Thunderbolts and lightning, very, very, frightening and flooding all over. More expected today.

A week of sometimes it's sunny (20%), sometimes it's torrential rain (80%)!
Flooded roads, new pot holes, water logged lawns & flower beds. Guttering not coping with the amount of rain, especially in the vicinity of Sid's cat flap!!! Have indoor en suite facilities set up for him, in case of emergencies!!!!!
