Yes, we had three hours of that, absolutely hissing down, it cleared through late afternoon and today is dry and bright, quite pleasant.

Yesterday was a lovely sunny day spoilt by an irritating breeze.
Following rain last night, today has dawned bright and sunny if a little fresher with temperatures forecast to reach about 17 degrees.

Hopefully the threat of storms on Wednesday en-route to Faro doesn't make the flight too turbulent.

Once again up here in sunny Fleetwood it is glorious blue sky without a breath of wind. Temperature at 2:45pm is 26 centigrade according to the car

Just returned from a friends annual bbq near Heathrow.
I wore jeans & t-shirt, and a fleece - and boots - and a parka.
Yep, August bank holiday weekend in Britain!!!

I hate how peopleï compare Frank Zappa to God. I mean, he's cool and great and nice and everything, but he's no Zappa.

Can`t believe what is going on again , all around us it appears to be persisting it down, Yet here in Fleetwood it is full sunshine, no cloud, no wind and 23 Celsius the beaches are busy and the waterfront water play area is heaving.

Just been to Faro airport as our youngest daughter has returned to the UK. BBC weather forecast for her tomorrow is a high of 12 degrees in rain, a drop of about 14 degrees from today. I bet she puts the heating on
