Enjoy today Tom, this will be the best day of the long weekend!
Berkshire is chilly but sunshine, blue sky & fluffy clouds. Got all the windows open to let in some fresh air, but still wrapped up in my jamas & dressing gown!
Hopefully it'll stay like this for the boys golf this afternoon.

Bright and sunny in Eastbourne yesterday afternoon, started to get rather windy later. It's dull and grey this morning with a storm heading our way for this afternoon.
Some pictures from Eastbourne beach area taken yesterday here. |

We had an almighty blizzard here in the Midlands, 6.00 to6.30 am this morn, really strong wind and an inch of slushy snow, it's all gone now and we even have sun, but it's still very cold!

Yesterday got worse if that was possible! By the afternoon the winds were howling, it started to rain hard at around 430pm in Dulwich, followed by a two hour spell of even heavier rain with a few hailstones thrown in. My friends elderly mother who lives near Sevenoaks had a 6 hour power cut all through the afternoon.
Today started dark and gloomy, it is still very windy but in general much better looking although still quite cold at 9C. |

We missed Katie and had a sunny day today albeit not very warm. Good enough to do some tidying up in the garden though. 9 weeks to go to our first Albufeira visit of 2016.

I hate how peopleï compare Frank Zappa to God. I mean, he's cool and great and nice and everything, but he's no Zappa.

Dull and gloomy here in Eastbourne this morning after a windy and showery day yesterday. Stilll cold though, 9 or 10C at best, so everyone is wrapped up warm.

Another sunny day in Berks/Bucks. Haven't had rain since Storm Katie left after the easter weekend. Been 12-14C each afternoon since going back to work - always the way.
Can hear the pub garden calling!

Second consecutive sunny day here today with temperatures up to 16 degrees in virtually no wind. Another good day forecast for tomorrow BUT cold air from the North will bring only about 8 degrees and a possibly frost on Friday and the weekend. Getting all the gardening and maintenance jobs out of the way ready for Albufeira in 5 weeks time
