The rough sea of recent days has thrown up a lot of shell fragments, quite sharp some of them.

Not so cold that people were not jumping in and out of the waves.

I hate how peopleï compare Frank Zappa to God. I mean, he's cool and great and nice and everything, but he's no Zappa.

Galé beach around lunchtime today.

This isn't Galé beach obviously but the huge hotel development at Sesmarias that has lain dormant for years. There was some desultory looking work going on, nothing that suggested it would be open any time soon.

You must, at one stage, have been within a few feet of us, not in the pics though.

Correct sir!
I have blue shorts on, holding/carrying white t-shirt, Trish to my right, as that's safer, further away from the incoming waves you see! Wink

I was standing by the middle of the three beach restaurants but didn't actually venture onto the sand while snapping.

Excellent video of Falesia, thanks for that link.

and we were at a table in the middle bar of the three, on the terrace, just off the pavement that you must have walked along, I would think within 10 to 12 feet of us!
I'd have bought you a beer Beer
