This is a warning to property owners who use a management company to handle their affairs whilst absent.

It is a warning for the Carvoeiro area of the Algarve. I will not post any comments on this forum but urge you all to take a look at a similar topic posted on http://www.forum.carvoeiro.com/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=18046. The company mentioned and the woman that runs it should be avoided at all costs.

It's really difficult to point at one best beach as there are plenty of them in Algarve region. Though I would kick this off as a new topic as there are bound to questions. Just to repeat what I said elsewhere.

My IMI for2009 arrived yesterday. It is 6.96 Euros (for the whole year) more thanin 2008, an increase of 3.7% according to my calculator.

That's about three pints a year I can no longer afford to buy.

Try to visit some supermarkets as soon as you arrive, it'll be more likely you'll find them opened. Otherwise you still have a chance to eat in restaurant.
