I am told that the times on the English FA website are wrong. The tournament organisers have told me that these are the correct kickoff times, in bold below

Three matches scheduled thus

Thursday 2nd February Portugal v England at Bella Vista Stadium, Parchal ko 3pm
Saturday 4th February Holland v England at Loulé Municipal Stadium ko 3pm (that's the stadium in the town)
Monday 6th February France v England at Lagoa FC ko 1030am

A chance for you to see who's going to famous in 2 or 3 years. Or playing in the Blue Square League. Admission to these games is free.

Also of interest, Netherlands U17 v France U17 at Albufeira Stadium Thursday 2nd at 3pm.

There is also an U-16 tournament, not involving England, fixtures thus

U-16

Italy v Israel Friday February 3rd at Lagos FC ko 12noon

Netherlands v Portugal same day at Ferreiras FC ko 1600

Netherlands v Israel Sunday 5th February at Lagos FC ko 12noon

Portugal v Italy same day at Ferreiras FC ko 1600

Israel v Portugal Tuesday February 7th at Quarteira Stadium ko 12noon

Netherlands v Italy same day at Quarteira Stadium ko 1600 note change of venue

Subject: ALGARVE WOMEN'S FOOTBALL CUP 2012

This popular annual event will be held between 29th February and 7th March in various stadia in the Algarve. This year it will be a warm up for the Olympic tournament and features several of the world's top ranking women's football teams. Admission to matches is free. Venue and kickoff times are not yet available but the games are played mostly in the afternoons. I will update as and when I can.

To all who know me or who might get to do so later.

The weekend of 15/16 September 2012 will be marked by the celebration (is that the right word?) of my 60th.

Yes, big 60. Cry

Among events currently being planned are :

A spot of golf for those who play, with a trophy etc. This will be sponsored/paid for.

Much drinking of beer. Approve

Dinner hosted and paid for by me on the Sunday night at a suitable establishment.

I was going to include bowling, but it has closed down.

Would anyone who plans to be around please let me know by Private Message and include an email address as I would like to keep a mailing list in one place.

Then when things start to come together I can send out one message to all.
