And yet another sunny and breezy day. When will it end?

Temperature at 0955am is 17.3C, so perhaps a bit warmer than the same time yesterday. It's fairly breezy and more or less from the east. Later today we could have as high as 21C (mid March average is 18) but it could become cloudy. There won't be any rain.

It won't be too bad again tonight, 12C at worst around here.

Tomorrow won't see much change but Friday could be a touch warmer under clear skies.

The return of more normal March temperatures is expected from Monday onwards, with a good possibility of showers in the middle of the week.

If I get as nice a day in summer to watch cricket back in UK as we had here yesterday, I shall be well pleased!

It does though get quite cool quite quickly when the sun goes down around 615.

Today has started very sunny once more, temperature at 0845 is 15.0C which will quickly warm up to  reach 20C this afternoon. There is a light but steady breeze coming from the north.

That means slightly colder at night, down to 9 or 10C.

Tomorrow will be as today, there could be a lot more cloud on Saturday but temperatures will still be around 20C during the day.  There is no rain likely.

It's been so dry lately that those of use who suffer from hayfever symptoms are starting to sniffle and sneeze.

Last night was quite windy at times and it it still is a bit this morning. Clouds are passing across quite rapidly from from north to south.  The wind is definitely bringing sneezy stuff with it, my eyes and nose are telling me this!

Temperature at 0955am is 15.2C, mostly blue blue sky but clouds passing by.  It will stay cloudy today, but as warm as it has been with a maximum of 21C this afternoon. The air is dry, no rain will be felt.

Tonight will be somewhere between 10 and 13C, tomorrow  will be cloudy again but perhaps a bit warmer than today followed by a sunny Sunday but with temperatures back down to normal for mid March, around 17 or 18C.

The current outlook for next week is for unsettled and cooler weather with a strong chance of rainy days from Tuesday onwards.

I am definitely now in hayfever mode. Eyes itching and nose running. The dry northerly wind is bringing with it all sorts of dust and spores from the arid interior.

Temperature at 1010am is 16.5C, so a bit warmer than yesterday. The sky is prtty much covered with thin , high, cloud but the sun is there among the blue bits.

We could see as high as 22C later today, which is 4 or 5C higher than the average for this time of year. Make the most of it, as colder winds are expected from tomorrow bringing the daytime temperature down to a more normal 16 or 17C in the day, 9 or 10 at night.

Those colder winds will bring with them a period of unsettled and showery weather from Tuesday which will probably last until next weekend.

Another bright and breezy (also hayfevery) day and not quite so warm as yesterday. Temperature at 1130am is 16.9C, maximum today is expected to be 18 or 19.

There is some cloud and mist out to sea but skies are clear overhead.

Tonight it will fall to 10 or 11C, staying windy and dry.

Tomorrow will be cooler, 16C maximum in daytime and dowm to 7 or 8 at night, still dry and sunny though. Tuesday's when the weather changes as a cold front brings clouds, showers and much cooler temperatures possibly as low as 14C in the day.

There is strong probability of rainy days after that right through to the weekend. Time to do all those little jobs around the flat I have been putting off!

Cold today and going to get colder. The sun is out, the sky is blue, but the thermometer says only 14.9C at 1010am. It's still feeling hayfevery as well.

It will stay clear today but the maximum temperature will only be 17C, 18 at the most. The cold front that has been coming our way will arrive tonight, bringing temperatures down to 7 or 8C.

There's also some showery weather coming with it. Tomorrow and Wednesday are going to be cloudy with showers and not at all warm, below average for this time of year. Temperatures will be only 13 or 14 in the daytime, around 9 or 10 at night.

A low pressure area is moving west from the north-east of Spain and a fairly strong circulation of winds could mean that the cool and showery weather might last into the weekend.

Rather unpleasant! A total contrast to the past three weeks. It's raining hard from grey and leaden skies. Temperature at 0840am is 12.8C.

Bands of heavy rain are sweeping across the region as promised / threatened. This is going to last for some hours yet. Temperatures won't be more than about 15 or 16C, but fairly academic in the rain. I can see no redeeming features today and tomorrow will, if anything, be worse.

It will be a fairly cool night and still showery on and off. 9 or 10C at best.

Heavy showers are forecast for tomorrow and it will be even cooler than today. Thursday's not going to be much better either. The wet weather is set to continue into the weekend.

Yesterday afternoon wasn't so bad here after all. Black clouds were seen over Vilamoura but not here. For this morning there is a whole mass of rain just to the south and east. Looking out to sea there is a bank of dark clouds heading my way from the east. Rain is on the way.

Temperature at 0935am is 13.1C, today's high under all the clouds won't be more than 14 or 15. The showers will be with us most of the day and some could be rather heavy.

It won't be very warm again tonight, 10C at best. Thursday and Friday will be a little warmer, still with showers although not so many or as heavy as yesterday and today.

This morning it is fairly cloudy, light and with breks around me but out to the west I can see some very dark ones.

Temperature at 1000am is 13.4C, so about the same as yesterday . There is a light wind.

It's going to be another showery day but a bit warmer than yesterday, up to around 16C this afternoon. There could be periods of some hours without rain, but as yesterday evening some short and sharp bursts should be expected just as you are about to go out.

It will be fairly cool in sheltered inland spots tonight, perhaps down to 7C with 10 or 11 along the coast. The showery weather will continue until Saturday and it looks like being more wet days well into next week.

Wednesday here in Albufeira was cold and wet. The daytime temperature maxed out at 13C  (55F).

I checked back through the records and it was the coldest daytime bar one since 2nd February 2014. The only time it was colder in the daytime since then was February 7th this year, when we had only 12C (53F).

In fact early February this year had the longest run of cold days for a very long time, nothing above 16C for two weeks.

This morning it is a little murky, but not so rainy looking as earlier in the week. Temperature at 0950am is 14.6C, the air feels rather damp. There is almost no wind.

There are isolated showers coming our way for later, it will stay cloudy and the maximum temperature will be no more than 17C. Tonight could be quite cold, down to 9 or 10C, but that is average for this time of year. The weekend looks like being showery and not very warm, 16 or 17C is a little below the daytime average for late March.

The unsettled, cool and damp weather could be with us until the middle of next week, then things are expected to improve.

This morning started rather misty, but that's mostly cleared away now other than some haze over the sea. Temperature at 1130am is 17.1C, there is a bit of a breeze.

There is a little bunch of showers to the east, heading our way. I know for sure it will rain sometime around 315pm as I will be on the bike on the way to Guia or at 6pm when I am coming back.

It will be another cool-ish night, around 10 or 11C.

It looks like Sunday and Monday will be the same, a mixtures of showers and little bits of sun and temperatures around 16 or 17C.

Fingers crossed, but the current outlook does indicate that from Wednesday onwards the temperatures will rise into the 20's.

Well, yesterday it obligingly stopped raining just before I had to leave for the game at Guia, it rained fairly hard more or less right through the match and stopped just before 6pm when I cycled back.

This morning has begin rather mistily, there's no sun and it is feeling damp. Temperature at 0910am is 14.2C. There is very little wind.

Today will be fairly dull to start with, later on a mix of sunshine and the occasional shower. Maximum temperature will be around 17C.

Tonight will be about normal for the time of year, 10 or 11C., still with showers around.

The showery weather continues through Monday and Tuesday, temperatures in the daytime up 17 or 18C, at night 10 - 12 C.

It feels a bit cold and damp this morning, although the sun is out and the thermometer has just clicked up to 15C at 1030am.

There is some thick cloud on the horizon, out to sea, but overhead there are just a few wisps in an otherwise blue sky.

Today should be a dry one for a change, maximum temperature 18C under some cloud. Make the most of it as another load of showers will be coming our way tonight and tomorrow. Tonight will be around 10C only, tomorrow 17C but showery.

Wednesday should be a better day all round, dry and 18C, then things start to really improve they think with temperatures heading into the 20's towards the weekend. The current PT meteo outlook for the middle of next week is for a ridiculous 30C!

Yes, 30 degree's on the IPMA forecast would be something, I hope it's right but in contrast BBC is forecasting 25 degree's for the same days, that in itself would be pretty good as well though.
We'll soon see who is the more accurate.
